Only on the KDS Sevco thread could a desperate clearout of hun rubbish to save wages, keep the lights on and pay the rent for another stadium while their own sits derelict generate "Ah but whit about us" posts! LMAO!
Standard online - has to be black or white - response here.
They’re getting rid of pish players on mostly permanent deals to reshape their squad in time for the first game of the season. We haven’t.
There was no other praise for the awful way they are run from me or comparison between squads. Two things can exist without it being contradictory. Not quite sure if your point will stand up when they probably making about 3/4 more signings between now and the end of the window either. Again, they may be pish but they’re trying.
It’s just a simple fact that we would have time and space to have done more business if we got rid of Welsh, Lager, MJ, Kwon, etc etc. Although who’s to say we’d do it as we sit with 0 additions to outfield with a week to go.

This close season looks to me like the necessary austerity they have been putting off for years.
The problem they have is that if they live within their means, even a Celtic showing severe wage restraint should be able to deal with them relatively comfortably. And how long will their fans put up with that?

Was at the airport yesterday morning, about 5am, and barely noticed Goldson was in front of us in the Lufthansa Business Class check in queue
Dunno where he went after that. Never got on our flight to Frankfurt, probably due to having more luggage than the other passengers put together
Anyway, I felt no urge to snap or video the dirty, diving bastard. Good effing riddance

Mind when Cifuentes was instantly the most valuable player in Scotland on Transfermarkt?

Hilarious how football fans still don’t understand the basics of football and transfers.
Rangers NEED to punt these players because they have no money to spend. They are actively running around hoping anyone will take them and in most instances take them for less money than they original paid to bring them to Ibro…eh Hampden .
We do NOT need to sell anyone, I’m sure we are looking at shifting out some of the deadwood but only if the price is decent enough. Remember most of our players who aren’t really good enough have still actually contributed to what we have achieved domestically the last few seasons.
Oh, for example, scored and assisted a couple of important goals last year…he isn’t good enough to play for Celtic though. We sold him for about double what we paid.
That’s the difference, it’s really not that hard.

, Cifuentes is on his way to Greece for a new loan move.
He is set to join Aris Thessaloniki for the 2024/25 season.
An obligation to buy the player has been placed in the agreement, with reports in Greece stating the fee set at around £4.2m.ewan paton glasgow times
Rangers signed him for £1.2m and he flopped. He went out on loan and flopped.
Now his value has jumped to £4.2m? Totally believable.

All these lucrative transfer fees and potential transfer fees coming in for the Huns, it will definitely make sense when all they bring in is loans or obligations to buy.
Hugh Keevins described their 2012 recruitment as "grubbing around".
This is a whole new level of grubbing around.

There is no way in the world that the Aris bid is anything even close to that. Would bet my life on it. There previous highest transfer of €600k would mean increasing that by at least 700%, for a player who has flopped spectacularly at his last 2 clubs. Factor in his age and that there would be practically no resale value as Cypriot clubs never sell for large fees, it’s clear that this is moonbeams of the highest order. They've said Aris Thessaloniki from Greece your thinking Aris Limassol from Cyprus.
Cifuentes has only go on loan anyway with a supposed obligation to buy. No doubt in 12 months time they either don't buy him or it's for less than the £1.2m they spent on him
Its option to buy. No one is signing up to sign a guy who flopped twice at 2 clubs in 18 months and triple the huns fee before he’s even played for them.
In other words, he’s there for a season and then back to the huns.

From the current bun.
Greek journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos - who claims the midfielder is now on his way to Greece for a fresh season-long loan instead.
It's believed he will seal huis return back to Europe with top flight club Aris, the former club of Celtic star Luis Palma.
It's reported the deal has an option to buy included with Aris given the chance to make the move transfer permanent next summer.
However, the buy-out fee is suggested to be around €5million (£4.2million), which would be more than three times what Rangers paid for him last year.

And as we've seen with Bernardo, option to buy deals are still up for negotiation after the loan period. So maybe little incentive to quibble over the fee when trying to agree the loan and you don't even know if the player will work out.

Out of morbid curiosity a peek at dingbats form has a thread, postulating where they see themselves in ten years, and I think it’s starting to sink in for some of them.
