Over life, she did one thing every day, which was to share that beautiful infectious smile with anyone and everyone she came in contact with! Whether it be family or a total stranger, they all received the smile receive. Mary was born Oct. 11, 1943, in Daviess County to the late Dorothy Trodglen Midkiff and Hubert Midkiff.
Mary also was a Big Sister to Charlotte Midkiff Jones. Mary worked at Owensboro plant for several years but decided it was time to start something new. She and Richard opened Parrish and Bosley Gulf, a full service gas station. In 1987, they decided to go into business with their son, Tim, and Automotive was created. Later on, Mary found another love, working with children with special needs.
She began with driving a school bus and was later promoted to the director of transportation for the special services routes, making sure all of her little friends were protected. been said that there were some really great birthday parties on Ms. busses! After fully retiring, she was able to spend more time with her husband and dogs and her family that she loved so much! She loved to load up the RV to go camping or just day trips to the flea markets. Mary loved flowers of all kinds and could be found in one of her numerous gardens on any given day weeding or planting! most prized possession was her family, and the get-togethers were always time well spent! On April 30, 2020, Mary and Richard celebrated 60 years of marriage with a drive-by that was one of the best times of being together as family. You are now in Heaven with your loved ones by your side! We are missing you terribly just wanting to see your smile one more but will look to the stars to see you shining down on us.
You are our sunshine. In 1960, Mary met and married her one true love, Richard Hill. They are the proud parents of Tanya Cooper (David) of Hartford, Debbie Hill of Owensboro and Tim (Sissy) Hill of Owensboro. Mary was not just a proud mother but an even prouder grandmother of nine! Rounding out the loves of her life are her 20 great-grandchildren! Conner, Emmie, Brady, Emersyn, Tyler Grace, Addie, Kirsten, Brantley, Tatum, Lincon, Annesley, Bradley Brighton, Lincoln, Cailynn, Eastynn, Silas, Luxton, Bristol and Solomon; and a sister, Charlotte Midkiff Jones of Owensboro. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at James H.
Davis Funeral Home Crematory. Burial will follow at Brushy Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Wilford Ray Thomas Wilford Ray Thomas, 72, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, Oct.
23, 2020, at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born March 7, 1948, to the late Buck and Elsie Morgan Thomas in Daviess County, where he graduated from Owensboro High School, he was a mechanic at Don Moore for 33 years, and a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed taking his dog, Bear, to shows, playing pool, watching NASCAR and loved fishing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Thomas. Survivors include his brother, Gary Thomas of Maceo; and several cousins.
I would like to thank the staff at Twin Rivers for taking care of Ray over the past 22 years. The kindness that they showed and treated him like he was family. Murl Wayne Mills Murl Wayne Mills, 73, of Utica, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Wayne worked as a coal miner operating heavy machinery and served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Connie Vaughn Mills; and daughter Angela Horn.

18, 1929, to the late Arch and Anna Muriel Hayden Harris. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Kinney; and five beloved siblings, Evelyn Malcolm, Edmund William and Mary Louise She is survived by her sons, Steve (Mary) Kinney and Brad Kinney; granddaughter Chandler Kinney (Prem Patel); great-grandson Navi Patel; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was born Feb. 3, 1938, in Daviess County to the late James and Emma Jean Howard. Mary Emilene enjoyed volunteering at church, loved to travel and liked to cook. She was a member at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
Mary Emilene retired from GE after 40-plus years. She started working there at 18 years old. In addition to her parents, Mary Emilene is preceded in death by her brothers, Gerry Howard, Patrick Howard and Darrell Howard. Mary Emilene is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bill Rhoades; their daughter, Kathy Henson and her husband, Jerry; granddaughter Courtney Montgomery; and several nieces and nephews, including Jeanie Kralik and Connie Golden, to whom the family would like to offer special thanks for all their help. A funeral Mass will be said at noon Tuesday at St.
Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with burial following at St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday with prayers at 5 p.m. at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville.

He leaves behind to treasure many memories, son Mark (Pamela) McKinney of Beaver Dam; daughters Deanna (David) Fooks of Beaver Dam, Sandy White of Cromwell and Christy (Johnny) Larimore of Calvert City and their children and grandchildren; one brother, Faron McKinney of Morgantown; one sister, Edna (James) Morris of Morgantown; several brother and sister-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be noon Tuesday at Oak Grove Church of God Life Center, 10358 State Route 505 Cromwell with Bobby Joe Phelps and Johnny Larimore officiating.
